Neat Atari 2600 aesthetic. I cannot figure out how to stop the red guy from stealing my coins... I suspect if I could figure it out that I would enjoy this game. Is there a way to whack the red guy?

dang, I thought that the player would learn *not* to hit the red guys after seeing that hitting them took the coins. I'll add it in instructions.
A nice start to a game with some really cool ideas and mechanics. I like the pixel art style and clearly a lot of work has gone into it. However, it is lacking polish that will bring it to the next level:
1. Music / Ambient noise would help a lot.
2. Easier controls (having to click the button to switch was a bit annoying). Maybe having a shift arrows to use combat? Or some kind of other toggle? Perhaps mouse clicks? I'm not sure how to fix it but I know it feels a bit awkward.
Not bad, but not amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing an update.
Keep up the good work
Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely look into making the controls easier for people to use and we are still working on the music.
Great platforming puzzler! I need this for console or at least downloadable to PC. I checked your itch.io page and saw it is web only. Would love to get a non-web version.
Really nice pixel art style and a great atmosphere. It does an excellent job teaching the player what to do without out right displaying text instructions on the screen. Some of the inside colors are a bit too grey for my taste.
Definitely coming back to this one to finish it. Nice work!
A (very big and less grey) sequel of this is in the making and will release on Steam, although it'll be on hold for quite a while. My plan is to release Amidst the Sky for free as well on there whenever the sequel is close to done, as a sort of promotion. That plan is subject to change.
What a great little stealth game! Nice work :)
Thanks for Playing!
